Matumbaman Leaves Team Secret; Liquid Reunion?

Matumbaman left Team Secret after 2 years with them and ranked 3rd in TI10, next reunion with Team Liquid?

Team Secret announced that they are parting ways with their carry, Matumbaman, after 2 years together. During those 2 years, they managed to achieve many achievements, such as winning the Dreamleague Season 13 and the OMEGA League. Their recent achievement is the 3rd place on The International 10.

Matu said the pleasantries for the public is not “his style”, so he directly thanked his former teammates and counted them as friends. He also thanked Cyborgmatt as his manager and also John Yao as the “best content creator” in Esports.

However, it seems that achievement was not enough for Matu, who parted ways with Team Secret. With the release of Matu, now Team Secret only have 3 players, namely:

Micha “Nisha” Jankowski
Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat
Clement “Puppey” Ivanov

However, it looks like they will be filling their roster vacancies with veteran players quickly. The strongest rumors now are that Sumail will join as midlaner and Iceiceice as offlaner, while Nisha will switch positions to carry.

However, what about Matumbaman? Sources said that Matu would join Team Liquid following Zai. Matu has a history with Team Liquid from 2015 to 2019. He managed to win TI7 with them, and also has a high winrate of 68%. There has been no official confirmation from Team Liquid yet regarding this rumor.
