Although Mushi was playing as a stand-in carry, BOOM was able to dominate and win the BTS Pro Series for the second time!

BTS Pro Series

BOOM Esports won another BTS Pro Series back-to-back after defeating Polaris Esports with a score of 3-0. With this win, BOOM Esports is entitled to $24,000 USD. Their team, during the whole tournament run, was incomplete and always used a stand-in. In fact, in the final, they had to rely on their coach, Mushi, as a stand-in carry.

However, it seems that conditions it doesn’t matter for BOOM who appeared very dominant in the Grand Final of BTS Pro Series 9. In the first game, BOOM managed to win thanks to fbz’s dominating performance with Timbersaw. The second game became a yopaj show with Snapfire getting 25 kills. In the third game, all of BOOM’s players appeared to dominate and finish the Grand Final easily.

With this victory, BOOM Esports officially became the back-to-back champion of the tournament. They won the previous 8th edition as well. Even though they will start in the Lower Division DPC SEA, it looks like this will be a strong signal for the Upper Division teams, because 4 of the Upper Division teams are participating in this tournament.

Will this be the beginning of BOOM’s dominance in the Dota SEA tournament? Let us know what you think about them in the comments!
