Many fans were fumed after Omega Esports decided to play with rookie Raizen instead of Kielvj. The organization faced an upsetting defeat against ONIC PH who swept them, 2-0.

Omega fans suggest that the defeat was all due to Raizen’s performance. Many were insinuating that the defeat never would’ve happened if the team decided to stick with Kielvj.

Billy “Z4pnu” Alfonso earlier revealed that the organization decided to draft their rookie player Dean “Raizen” Sumagui in MPLI 2021.

In their match against ONIC, Omega brought a great fight but fell short during mid-game. ONIC PH’s “Banana Split” tactic forced OMEGA Esports to commit mistakes eventually securing crucial objectives.

After their disappointing defeat, Omega received some massive backlash from fans regarding their decisions. While some shared their support, many suggested that the decision to draft Raizen was the issue in their performance.

Despite the negativity, Z4pnu lit up the mood saying that Kielvj himself gave consent to the decision. The player told that the whole team was able agree on letting Raizen play for the game.

“The team made the decision to make you play. Your performance was good it’s just that ONIC PH is much cleaner with their strategy,” he told in a vlog.

In their disappointing form, Z4pnu revealed that the MPLI is already the team’s final tournament for this year. He said that the team will be back for the MPL PH Season 9.

As they take a break, many fans hope that the organization can get back to their MSC 2021 form where they emerged as champions.
