Resolut1on Quits Pro Career to ‘Live Without Running for Results’

Resolut1on announced that he will no longer be playing professionally!

Veteran player Roman ‘Resolut1on’ Fominok told that he’s already departing from the pro scene through his Tweetlonger account.

The player told that he will no longer be participating in any tournament which includes the upcoming DPC.

After 9 years of playing professionally, Forminok decided to quit permanently. Roman cites that he wants to recharge personally.

According to the player, he aims to “learn how to live every day without running after results”. 

Additionally, the player mentioned that he’s already burnout after playing a long time of competing professionally. With his retirement, Resolut1on says he already wants to focus on his future path.

“I decided that I want to get out of this crazy marathon of 9 years of professional dota in order to look at the situation from the outside, reboot, and learn to live every day without chasing the results,” he said.

“My professional burnout was due to a string of unsatisfactory results in the step away. and now the first thing I want to do is work it out and understand in which direction to move on,” he added.

Resolut1on is a well-renowned player who started his career way back in 2013. He has worked on top-tier teams including Virtus.pro, Team Empire, and the legendary OG itself.

Resolut1on’s most successful run is in The International 16 with Digital Chaos. Alongside Saksa and W33, Roman was able to place top 2 in the tournament despite being the underdogs.

In his departure, many fans will totally miss his impactful playstyle. His dominant game will surely be missed, and will definitely mark an end of an era.
