BoxTeam Liquid Acquires Zai Hours After Team Secret Announcement

Boxi out? Team Liquid signs Zai while Boxi’s still on the team.

Team Liquid announced on Thursday that the organization has officially acquired Zai. The announcement comes hours after Team Secret’s official post declaring the player’s departure.

In Team Liquid’s post, the organization uploaded a candid post of Zai with a caption, “Please welcome to Team Liquid, the one and only, Zai!”

Ahead of this post, Team Secret announced a heartfelt farewell on the player’s departure. The organization has extended its gratitude including Puppey who also shared his commendations to the offlaner.

“It is a sad moment, but I have to accept that all good things come to an end. I have nothing but love for this man, not only is he an amazing and persistent teammate, he is also a great friend. No matter where you go and what you do, I am sure you’ll find success. I wish you nothing but the best,” the team captain said.

Meanwhile, Liquid has controversially signed Zai despite Boxi’s presence in the team. Boxi is officially playing for Team Liquid as their offlaner, same with Zai’s position.

As of this moment, it is still unclear whether the organization will be bidding its farewell with the player, or that he will be playing a different role.

Regardless, it’s 100% sure that the organization will be doing some changes as the team now has 6 players on its roster.
