After playing with BOOM for 1078 days, Mikoto finally departed the Indonesian team to give way for the new players.

BOOM announced this roster change via Twitter on Wednesday (28/10) night. They wished Mikoto luck in the future, and will always remember all the moments they triumphed in the SEA Dota 2 scene. It seems, many have expected this roster change after many new members entered BOOM such as Yopaj who filled the mid position.

Mikoto

Rafli Fathur “Mikoto” Rahman is an Indonesian Dota 2 player who had played with Alter Ego and BOOM Esports. He is the first player from Indonesia to reach 10,000 MMR in 2020. Mikoto also achieved another milestone at the end of January 2021 by winning 11,000 MMR.

With Mikoto leaving BOOM, the drastic change in the team’s roster is almost complete. BOOM has brought in 3 new players from the Philippines such as yopaj, skem, and Tims, last September. Many are still wondering whether the last player to come to BOOM will be in the carry position. However, rumors are circulating that the skem will take the carry role, while the new player will later occupy the hard support position.

Do you think the newest team from BOOM will be the new SEA Contender in the upcoming DPC season? Or will the performance be as bad as the previous team? Let us know in the comments!
