Welp… that was a tough run for NXP EVOS themselves!

Blacklist International

Blacklist International showed how champions work after sweeping Nexplay EVOS out of the MPL playoffs, 3-0.

After receiving a tough loss against OMEGA Esports, the MPL defending champs Blacklist regained its form and has beaten NXP EVOS down to a pulp.

Kiel “Oheb” Soriano who has been showing inconsistencies recently has led his team towards the lower bracket finals.

Nexplay EVOS

The ‘ultimate bonding experience’ (UBE) strat of Blacklist was back as the team maintained pressure against NXP throughout the series.

Following their win, Blacklist is now up for a rematch against OMEGA Esports who was shockingly swept by ONIC today.

Meanwhile, NXP is kissing their MPL dream goodbye as they exit the scene with a disappointing performance. It appears the team is facing some consistency issues as they failed to continue their lead in all of their games against Blacklist.

NXP EVOS versus Blacklist International Recap

Throughout the series, NXP EVOS failed to decode Blacklist as they were unable to find answers to all the problems brought by the champs.

Veteran support yellyHaze

In the first game of the series, Nexplay was able to take control of the game with Yellyhaze’s perfect Abyssal arrows from his Selena.

However, things got tricky after Oheb climbed himself back to the game. Oheb’s mechanical Harith was able to secure the game for Blacklist.

In game two, Nexplay EVOS had a similar start. The team was able to take command in the early game but failed to maintain consistency. Blacklist was able to make a clean comeback after focussing more on objectives instead of kills.

Hadji

This time, Salic “Hadji” Imam took the MVP with his 0-2-3 KDA and a 100 percent kill participation on Chou.

The same issue continued in game three as NXP failed to continue their solid start. In game three, Edward took the MVP with a 2-0-5 stat.
