Team Spirit emerged as the better TS against Team Secret, 2-1.

Dota 2: Team Spirit

The very intense lower bracket finals ended up favoring the dark horse Team Spirit who has completed a lower bracket run towards grand finals.

Puppey’s leadership appeared superior in the series but fell short against Spirit’s counter picks.

The first game of the series appeared one-sided for Team Secret following their superior draft. The Aegis-hungry Secret picked up a Terror Blade for Matumbaman empowered by a Magnus Zai.

Spirit on the other hand tried to respond with a Storm Spirit and Spectre combo. The early phase of the game looked very equal but eventually snowballed in favor of Team Secret after Matumbaman’s farming efficiency.

The team took advantage of their power spikes and took crucial Roshans paving way for their high ground tower push. Wielding a 28k gold lead, Secret took the first bite off the series under 39 minutes.

Second game of the series appeared like a direct turnaround favoring Spirit. The CIS players showed the advantage of their hero pools after showing a very different draft.

Spirit shocked the series by picking a traditional Tidehunter who appeared as the biggest problem for Secret. In addition, the team also picked Morphling whose machine-gun potential got unlocked by Dark Willow support.

Puppey’s iconic Enchantress tried to make Spirit’s early game troublesome but to no avail. Similarly, Matumbaman’s empowered Juggernaut tried his best to equalize with the enemy Spectre but failed.

With the Tidehunter and Kunkka combo, Team Spirit brought the chunkiest team against Secret. With their very tanky squad, Secret failed to bring any devastating damage against Spirit eventually falling down in minute 43.

Intense Game 3: Spirit Completely Overshadows Secret

The nail-biting game 3 showed a more comfortable Team Secret who picked up a Tiny-Lycan combo. Spirit on the other hand tried to respond with a Magnus-Sven combo with the idea of giving out bigger damage with the Empower+God Strength.

Despite getting more kills against Secret, Spirit trailed behind Secret’s mild gold lead playing around 1-2k. A complete vacuum however happened in favor of Spirit following Yatoro’s well-fed Sven.

Things completely fell off from Secret after multiple pick-ups were fulfilled by Spirit. Everything fell off after Collapse pulled off a massive 2-man Skewer forcing Puppey and the squad buy back to defend.

Everything ended for Secret after Collapse locked down Matumbaman and Nisha with his RP. Yatoro followed up with a God Strength capturing a rampage.

With their win, the dark horse is now on their way to the grand finals. The underdogs will be hoping for the best out of their talents against the Chinese gods themselves, PSG.LGD.
