Following their convincing win against OG, Secret once again swept their way for a sure top 3 finish after clearing Invictus Gaming, 2-0. This win hands Secret their first-ever top 3 finish in its franchise history.

Secret Versus Invictus Gaming Recap

Puppey and his squad have clearly taken over their game one after ending the fight with a 35-13 score. The team clearly outmaneuvered IG with their draft where Nisha dominated with his perfect Templar Assassin play.

Nisha’s perfect performance allowed him to get 14 kills and no death standing. Yapzor’s Elder Titan pick on the other hand spiced up the game after locking down multiple heroes with his map awareness.

Notably, Zai’s Vengeful Spirit pick made Secret’s win very public after creating multiple opportunities for the team.

The second game of the series appeared more equal between the two compared to their first game. Invictus Gaming started the game with more confidence especially for their Kunkka pick which brought trouble for Secret multiple times.

Invictus Gaming also capitalized on the space created by Kunkka by making their Spectre pick create more farms.

Meanwhile, Secret tried to make the game on equal ground by creating more space for Nisha to farm. Matumbaman’s Lifestealer on the other hand appeared as an additional nuisance brought by his hard-to-kill kit because of his rage.

IG created massive wins in mid-game but was completely turned around by Secret later on. The Zai-Matumbaman bomb completely ransacked through IG in the late game where they completely decimated IG’s supports.

With Nisha’s farmed Templar Assassin, the squad has clearly taken the game over 40-minutes in.

Now, Secret has already secured their top 3 finish– their first in their franchise history. The goliaths are now sitting pretty as they wait for their opponent for the upper bracket finals in the winner between Virtus.Pro and PSG.LGD’s series.

Invictus Gaming on the other hand will be facing the winner between T1 and Vici Gaming scheduled tomorrow, October 15, at 6 PM GMT+8.
