The lag may have given OG a free win against T1!

OG

T1 may have just faced the biggest disaster after facing a “laggy” game during their game two. The team hoped for a tie against the defending champions OG but to no avail due to the unfortunate lag.

OG, meanwhile, took command of both series after taking advantage of ‘King’ Sumail’s superstar performance.

T1 versus OG Recap

Game 1 of the series showed a pretty disadvantaged T1 in terms of the draft. OG managed to squeeze in a Tinker last pick which surprised T1 making them unable to respond with a counter.

The surprise Tinker pick managed to pay off for the defending champions after taking control of the map with its elusive yet devastating mechanics.

OG

OG’s draft was spiced up even more with their Legion Commander support which massively saved heroes on multiple occasions.

Despite picking up a Medusa carry, T1 failed to gaze on OG’s snowball after being stomped in terms of the farm.

Similarly, T1’s Doom pick did not bring any nightmare as OG managed to build up sustain builds to mitigate the Doom.

The second game of the series appeared more interesting as T1 started the series with a commanding force.

The SEA favorites managed to take lead in the early stage of the game thanks to Karl’s performance on Storm Spirit. Things managed to slip away however for the team after some ‘lag’ issues in the middle of the game.

T1 was forced to call for a pause on multiple occasions due to the pesky bug. The SEA representatives even cited at one point that their team cannot click at Ceb’s Monkey King.

Meanwhile, OG managed to take advantage of the disaster by feeding Sumail the farm that he definitely needs. OG played their usual gameplay of feeding Sumail as many farms as they can in order to make him impactful mid-game.

With the problematic lag, T1 no longer had any chance of taking the game back. The game was ended with a clean performance from the defending champs carrying a massive 22k gold lead.

OG, T1 October 9 Schedule

As of this moment, the top SEA team T1 is now at the brink of playing in the lower bracket. The defending champs OG on the other hand sits comfortably at a 7-3 standing, trailing behind IG’s 9-1.

OG is now set to face the top 1 in terms of DPC points EG tomorrow at 3 PM. T1 on the other hand is hoping to come back bigger against Aster at the same time tomorrow.

Both teams’ second games will be at 7 PM with OG fighting against Undying, and T1 against Alliance.
