L3bron Challenges Dogie; ‘Master versus Student, G?’

Akosi Dogie receives another challenge, this time from his former talent L3bron!

Bren Esports’ Raven “L3bron” Alonzo challenged his ex-master Setsuna “Dogie” Ignacio to a duel in the fifth week of MPL PH S8.

L3bron initially started his career as a streamer under the supervision of Dogie.

Alonzo was recruited by Bren this Season 8 of MPL PH. Raven however has yet to play a game up to date.

In a post-match interview for Bren, L3bron was asked by fans regarding his debut game. The player then called out Dogie to play in week 5 for them to have a match.

“Boss Dogs, master versus the one you tutored. So what, g (game)?” told the former Dogie prodigy.

Bren Esports currently sits idly at the bottom of the MPL PH rankings.

Despite getting their second win only at week 4, L3bron maintained his high spirits and even afforded to crack jokes.

The team’s coach Francis “Duckyyy” Glidro on the other hand revealed that the team was actually upset ahead of their second win.

Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel followed up saying that the team only recovered after getting their second win against Nexplay EVOS.

“When we played the game, our morale was quite low, like, we don’t care, we just played the game,” Pheww told. 

“After that, we felt encouraged when we won during game one and started snowballing,” he added.

The bottom-ranking M2 champions will continue their MPL battle on September 24 in a rematch against NXP EVOS.

As of this moment, Dogie has yet to give his response to L3bron’s challenge.
