TNC Dota 2 players are now ready to explore other options!
TNC Dota 2 Pro Team’s full roster interview revealed that they departed from the team to explore other options.
The organization recently announced that its full roster will be disbanded. TNC scheduled an interview on September 14 to explain the disbandment in detail.
The interview hosted by Eri Neeman discussed in detail the factors why the organization arrived at the disbandment.
Eri asked the team about what they actually feel about the decision. TNC CEO Eric Redulfin explained that he’s truly heartbroken to arrive at the decision.
The CEO said that the organization unanimously agreed that the disbandment was necessary for their own developments.
“As much as we want them to stay in TNC, we don’t actually want them to stop from growing,” he told.
Redulfin also added that he’d be glad if the team would decide to stay on the team. However, he told that it’s the players’ decision to leave to explore other opportunities outside the Filipino team.
“It’s their choice. If they want to stay in TNC, I’d be happy with that of course because we’re a family. Since they want to explore their talent in other organizations, we are open to that. That’s actually what we want, if they really know they can excel elsewhere, I’d be happy with that.”
In the interview, the players also revealed that the upcoming The International 10 contributed to their decision.
The players explained that it’s their first time to be out of the tournament after how many years.
“Right now, I’m thinking about taking things step-by-step. I’m thinking of improving myself more because we did not qualify for TI,” told Gabbi.
Similarly, Armel added the same thought saying that the break made him understand a lot of things in reality.
“I’m thinking about improving my game even more. Right now, because of the long break, I feel like I’m already living in the real world. Before, 2 weeks is already a long break. After that, we’d have to go back to the boot camp. But now, it’s already been 2 months that there’s no competition and I’m not used to it,” he told.
Meanwhile, Tims says he actually felt jealous of those who qualified for the TI.
“I first thought of the feeling of not qualifying for the TI for the first time. This is the first time since I entered the professional scene. In these past few months, I actually felt bored. I feel like it’s too long. I feel a little bit jealous of those who qualified. I feel like we also deserve to be in the tournament,” told Tims.
In the 40-minute long interview, many noticed that Bok and Boomy were not able to attend.
The full interview revolved mainly on the three main players of the team who have been in the organization for 4 years.
Bok and Boomy’s absence raises the question that maybe the players have already transferred to another team.
Could both players’ absence be due to either already of them already arrived at another team, or that they’ve decided to take a break?
TNC CEO however told that all the players will only be starting their free agency on September 15. Until then, all players will remain under the team’s contract.
