Advantage? There’s only a day left before the LEC Summer Playoffs and Fnatic has shocked the scene with a sad surprise.

“Adam tested positive for COVID-19 following the end of the Summer Split and right after the three days break that our players had following the super-weekend.” their announcement read.

This news forced Fnatic to have all their players and staff in Berlin tested for the virus as well. Fortunately, the organization reported that no other member tested positive of COVID.

Despite having Adam the only player to test positive, Riot moved to change the rules for the team ahead of LEC.

In the recent change, Riot has allowed Fnatic to play remotely against Vitality. At the same time, Vitality was given the same privilege for their safety as well.

Meanwhile, Adam will also be playing in an isolated situation with his team for the safety of his teammates.

Aside from these changes, the remaining of LEC will proceed as planned. All the other teams who are healthy will be playing in the studio with a ready-to-go full broadcast team.

LCS on the other hand has cancelled their live for their finals event in Newark due to the COVID situation.
