Cacao Project Founder Wants Nas Daily Banned in Philippines, Seeks Gov’t Help

Cacao Project Founder Louise Mabulo now pushes to declare Nas Daily persona non grata.

The Commission on Human Rights – Bicol is now moving to file a report against Nuseir Yassin’s alleged disrespectful behavior against Filipino farmers.

This report is in relation to Mabulo’s prior report claiming that Nuseir disrespected their farmers during their ‘Cacao Project’ research.

Mabulo initially seeked to declare Nas persona non grata through Commission on Human Rights – Bicol on August 11.

On August 10, Mabulo was found having a meeting with CHR officers in the province. The said report related to the investigation on “on the recent issues surrounding the exploitation against me and the farmers here perpetuated by some vlogger.”

In a post, Mabulo also revealed that there’s already an ongoing CHR memo. This memo is to have the subject Endorsement on the alleged exploitation of a foreign vlogger to an entrepreneur helping farmers in Camarines Sur”.

Ahead of all this drama, Nas Daily told that Louise was spreading fake news. In his prior report, Nas claimed that Mabulo was the one exploiting their farmers.

How Cacao Project Founder Came into the Picture

Prior to this, Louise initially claimed that Nas mocked their province’s farmers during his research in the province.

“I watched him imitate and mock the local accent and language, vocalizing Tagalog-sounding syllabic phrases saying it sounded stupid. He repeatedly said that the people of my hometown [are] ‘poor,’ ‘farmers are so poor!’ and “why are Filipinos so poor?’” He said no one wants to hear about farmers or farms, it’s not clickable viewable content. He didn’t care about making change or shedding light on real issues – he only wanted content, a good, easy story to tell that would get him more Filipino views,” Mabulo’s August 5 post read.
