“But there are also unique challenges and very high expectations for how a game should perform on mobile. That could mean that we may look at other regions that are less demanding first.”

Given its heavy influence on mobile games, Riot thought of releasing it as a priority in the region.

VALORANT Mobile is going to have a really big focus in Southeast Asia just because of the fact that it is a mobile-first region,” added Hulog.

The developers however clarified that they are still in the process of polishing the game.

“But whether it comes first is a question that we need to weigh. One of the nice things about not going first is that it gives us time to work out the bugs.”

Currently, the pc version of VALORANT has gained huge popularity from the region. Many popular streamers emerged to their current status after playing around the game.

With SEA gamers’ love for mobile games, it is definitely expected that this treat from Riot will be well received.
