Thailand-based Wild Rift team Valdus Esports (known as 9199218) was slapped with suspension after one of its players was found guilty of account sharing.

A thorough investigation determined that Panawit “Int#GOAT” Isarakamonpat, a Valdus Esports pro player, was found guilty of account sharing according to ESL Thailand. He would be banned from all official Riot Games esports events for three months effective July 30, 2021.

The destinies of the remaining players are being investigated, and an announcement will be made soon. The squad will no longer compete in the ESL Mobile Open 2021 Fall: Thailand, and will be replaced by a new group.

Account sharing is prohibited per rule 8.1.1.1.6 of the Wild Rift SEA Icon Series 2021: Fall Season regulation. Playing under another player’s account, or soliciting, inciting, encouraging, or instructing someone else to play under another player’s account, is punishable by a number of different punishments, depending on the severity of the offense.

Clutch Gamer and Ham&Hed will compete in a BO5 match to determine who will take Valdus Esports’ position in the event. Following the conclusion of the match, the announcement will be made.

This isn’t the first time Riot has suspended a team for violating its rules. On July 17, Riot suspended Filipino Wild Rift team Amihan Esports for faking documents that misrepresented the actual age of Karl “AMI Karlll” Ken Bautista.

Meanwhile, Amihan Esports was also pulled out of their slot for the SEA Icon Series Fall Season.

On June 3, 2021, Hyprgame reported that the all-Filipino Wild Rift squad is facing multiple cheating allegations including joining a prohibited tournament, map hacking, and using a minor.
