As uHigh leaves Team Secret to find better opportunities with Bigetron RA, we look back on the journey that made him a star player. In a HYPRGAME exclusive interview with the 17-year-old PUBG Mobile Champion from Malaysia, we understood what made him one of the sought-after talents in the PUBG community, and his goals as he moves to the next level of his career.

uHigh

How would you describe your stay with Team Secret?

uHigh: For me, I feel really comfortable when I play with Team Secret. They really, like, take care of us. And the most important part is they are really good organization for me, because of, not surely, they just take care of me very well, lah. I don’t fell like, ’I hate this team’, I don’t feel that. I fell happy.

If there’s anyone, who do you think made the biggest impact on your career in Team Secret?

uHigh: My team, lah. IShotz, MADTOI. We’ve been playing for almost like one years and half. Almost two years, lah, I would say. And we know each other well, we always share our knowledge, we always share our story, we just like family. MADTOI is the father, IShotz is the mother.

What would you consider as the best memory that you have with the team?

uHigh: The best I have … And that team was PMPL season 1, that time were like, with Biu beside me, IShotz, MADTOI, and Biu, we were together, that was outside event, before the pandemic happen. And with OnTheGo. So we were having so much lah. Because that, like, my first time join to big organization, you know. The atmosphere kinda like, ‘whoa, very good’. That’s the unforgettable memory. We do have a lot of fun back then.

In 2020, you managed to secure a grand final MVP award. If you were not with Team Secret at that time, do you think you would still get the same shot of getting the award?

uHigh: If, I would say, if that time, I’m not surely. Because the MVP one, I got it because of my team, also. They had me to get MVP. I would say they berkorban (sacrifice) for me. They take care of me, until I leave in the last circle. By the time I leave the last circle, right. Because everyone know, that’s why I get that time minutes, I think. Because of my team mate.

As young as you are, what other achievements do you think you can achieve in the future?

uHigh: My goal in the future is I just want to win PMGC, win the world global. I want to beat Chinese team, lah. I just think Chinese team is strong. But, one day, I will beat them, with my own team.

Would you consider taking some of those achievements with Team Secret again in the future?

uHigh: Maybe, in the future, we didn’t know. I just follow the flow. If God gave lucky, no? Is the rezeki (blessing; livelihood)? I just follow the flow.

What do you think could be biggest reason why you are deciding to move out of the team?

uHigh: Actually, I’m not planning to move out from the team. Eh, actually yeah, eh, actually not, actually not yet, lah. It’s not that I want to move out from the team, lah. It’s just that I want to play in a better opportunity. Not saying that Team Secret is not good. They are good, but I just, that, I want something different, you know what I mean.

Would you consider your recent upsets in the previous tournaments a factor in your decision?

uHigh: All the tournament before, right? We learn from it. I feel upset after the tournament. Of course we all feel sad. For me it just the progress for you to moving forward, to move on, to learn from it, you know what I mean, to be better. Past is past, we cannot live in the past. So we have to move on.

Do you have any regrets in playing with Team Secret?

uHigh: I don’t (have) no regrets at all. I think this is the part of my journey, I would say. Because they make whoever am I today. Without them I don’t think I can reach this far. So thank you so much my teammate, Team Secret, for having me!

Is there anything you would like to say to your fans? Your Team Secret Family? And of course to your doubters as well.

uHigh: To our fans, to our Team Secret family, thank you so much for supporting me, and supporting our Team Secret. I really appreciate you guys.
