Been wanting to grind in Dota 2 don’t have the means to do it? This new innovation by Valve could be something for you!
Valve has recently introduced their latest handheld console, Steam Deck. Steam Deck is a hand-held “pc” that allows gamers to play any game available on Steam.
Gabe Newell in an interview showed that it’s actually possible. Newell played the first-ever Dota 2 game on a handheld console.
Newell said that he wanted to test by himself how smooth the game was on the steam deck.
“I do immediately play Dota with each new version that I get so I’ve probably been a little more laser-focused on the useability testing of Dota.” told Valve’s co-founder.
Weeks ago, Valve officially launched the Steam Deck to the public. During that time, many people quickly questioned whether the console could accurately run a Dota 2 game or not.
In a Reddit thread, a certain 1LastHit2Die4 emailed GabeN asking the same question. “Does it run Dota smoothly?”
To which the co-founder replied with class, “Yep.”
While Steam Deck boasts of running Dota 2, it is later on revealed that it is not playable using a joystick.
According to reports, players may need to attach a keyboard and mouse to make the gaming experience more possible.
What’s interesting with the console is that it works like a pc. Adding more surprise to the console is that it allows users to play games produced by Steam’s rivals.
Currently, Steam Deck is only available through pre-orders and only in a few regions. Those with successful pre-orders will have their consoles delivered starting in December of this year.
Steam Deck is available in three versions– the 64GB eMMC version, 256GB NVMe SSD version, and the 512GB NVMe SSD version.
The said versions cost $399 USD, $529 USD, and $649 USD respectively.

It will be costly
I think Game Console will be expensive. Only rich persons can buy to play.
Valve should develop Mobile Games.
