Vietnam’s SBTC Esports Tells Fans to Boycott Moonton

This time, the Vietnam’s SBTC Esports opened up about Moonton’s ‘monopoly’ rules. Even SBTC did not hesitate to invite their fans to boycott!

The news of Moonton’s new regulations that have an impact on the Riot tournament in Indonesia is spreading in the Wild Rift SEA community.

After the CEO of Team Secret called out Moonton’s new rule, SBTC Esports also voiced their opinion.

“According to some official sources, Moonton has made a move to force the owners of the teams that are playing the MLBB game in Indonesia and the Philippines to dissolve the Wild Rift team because they have signed a binding contract.

This caused strong opposition from the regional eSports community.

“Let’s boycott the monopoly and unfair competition that harms the world’s eSports industry!!!,” the team said.

They also uploaded a picture of Moonton complete with a prohibition sign, wrote ‘Stop Gatekeeping Esports’ and ‘Do Not Support Moonton Games’.
