Malaysian producer Chris Teng He Xun dies of an accident on Tuesday night, a Hyprgame source confirmed. He was 23 years old.

IO Esports Chief Executive Officer and Founder Kenchi Yap confirmed the news on his personal Facebook page.

“Good person has stopped beating, a good soul soared to heaven,” Yap said.

“We part with our beloved Chris Teng He Xun in pain. Rest in Peace,” he added.

Flux also confirmed the news on its Facebook page.

“It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the death of our company director Chris Teng He Xun. You will always remain in our heart forever. May he rest in peace,” it said.

Chris Teng He Xun is the founder and CEO of Flux Broadcast, an integrated, end-to-end broadcast and video content solution lead by a group of energetic, passionate individuals.

Flux Group mounted the World Electronic Sports Games in Southeast Asia. It is the largest esports event in the region.

Chris Teng He Xun also helped in staging the first Mobile Legends: Bang Bang World Championships.
