The GPX Team‘s plan to participate in the MPL Indonesia Season 8 seems to get closer… by directly buying an MPL team.
Leaks of the GPX team or Geng Kapak preparing for MPL merge came out recently on social media, this time from a member named Marsha. As seen from @emak_moba’s post, he leaked GPX’s plans for the upcoming MPL on his Nimo TV channel.

“So we bought a team, guys. Not buying (an MPL) slot,” said the former pro player. He also emphasized once again to his online friends.
Geng Kapak was originally formed by Donkey, Auro, and Marsha. This team was based on their idea as a union of retired pro players in the Mobile Legends division. Donkey and friends also did not ask or force other former pro players to join their small team.
Unfortunately, there were no other details about the team they had bought. Many netizens thought they had bought Genflix Aerowolf, considering that many of its members had dispersed to other major esports teams. In fact, there are already two players officially withdrawn from GFLX, namely Bottle and Marz.
According to the rumors, Bottle has joined the trial of EVOS Legends, while Marz has joined the trial of RRQ Hoshi. It’s not surprising news since the online rally by several Aerowolf players, asking for their salaries to Aerowolf Team. Thus, the rumor of GFLX disbandment emerged.
