Top Philippine team TNC Predator proved that they were really a predator to fear after the squad managed to secure a playoffs ticket against top tier teams in the group stage.
TNC were able to clinch their playoffs ticket after taking a draw versus Team Spirit for their last series of the group stage.
For their final series, the all-Filipino squad were able to submit Spirit with their massive gold lead. TNC were able to take massive gold lead following multiple team fights favoring them.
Armel Paul “Armel” Tabios proved his place in the scene after taking a 55.5k net worth for his Puck.
Over the course of the game, Armel took 17 kills with 23 assists with only two deaths.
Despite having a very strong game 1, TNC faced a defeat in the second game, a direct turnaround from their game 1 performance.
Following the series draw, TNC stood on a 2-3-2 win-draw-loss record in the group stage, enough to qualify for playoffs.
TNC managed to completely demolish Team Nigma and Beastcoast– two of which are foes to be reckoned with in the tournament.
