Is Atta Using Wife Aurel’s Miscarriage for Endorsements?

The grief of losing their first child still surrounds the young couple Indonesian YouTuber Atta Halilintar and singer Aurel Hermansyah. In their grief, they restricted any media that allowed to interview them. However, there is something Atta hides from everyone.

Indeed, this young couple is still running endorsements in their Insta Story amidst their grief. In the middle of Atta’s pile of endorsements, there is one that mentioned about pregnancy. He uploaded a date product advertisement with a pregnancy program. In that advertisement, it is written with the following information.

“Innalillahi wa innalillahi rojiun, see you in Heaven, son/daughter 😭. Thank you for all the prayers and support,” wrote it in the top text. The ad also uses an ultrasound photo of Aurel’s womb.

“Bismillah, I want to continue to stand up with the pregnancy program with @kurmamuda_id. I often took zuriat fruit and saffron since the beginning. The price is only IDR Rp.95,000 (or USD $6.64) for one month’s consumption. The pregnancy program’s package is sooo good!” wrote it in the bottom text.

According to netizens’ acknowledgment, the endorsement was still available until Wednesday (19/05) morning. Some netizens who witnessed it captured his Insta Story. Netizens started re-uploading the screenshot that evening on other social media, such as Twitter and Facebook. It didn’t take long, Aurel’s name became trending again on Twitter.

Netizens had doubts about the authenticity of this evidence. They also don’t want to judge too quickly, for fear of falsely accusing. Unfortunately, there was an additional evidence from other people’s screenshots.

Netizens also took issue with Atta’s content for telling the chronology of Aurel’s miscarriage on his YouTube channel. In fact, the video entitled “Selamat Jalan Anakku…” (Goodbye my son/daughter…) will be included in one of the original series from Maxstream, an Indonesian streaming film service, with the new title “Kami Ikhlas” (We let it go).

This made netizens that initially pitied Atta-Aurel to become annoyed again. Netizens are worried about Aurel’s psyche, she once was asked by Atta’s mother not to be spoiled and lazy while pregnant.

Until now, the truth of the advertisement using Aurel’s miscarriage is still in doubt. It has been the hot topic of discussion since Wednesday night on Facebook and Twitter, but hardly anyone has discussed it on Instagram, including gossip accounts like Lambe Turah.

Atta-Aurel, both of you really have to know the boundaries which content is suitable for public or not.
