BTS, Top Social Artist in BBMA for 5th Straight Year

BTS just can’t stay behind the scenes!

Top male Kpop group BTS had just won their fifth Top Social Artist award in this year’s Billboard Music Awards.

The ARMYs just proved that they have a very strong fanbase as their stans won against top artists such as fellow KPop groups Blackpink and SEVENTEEN, Arianna Grande, and the Filipino Pop Group SB19.

In their fifth win, BTS becomes the second awardee to receive such award for five consecutive years next to Justin Bieber.

Aside from the Top Social Artist award, BTS had also won Top Duo/Group, and Top Song Sales Artist. Aside from such, BTS also won the Top Selling Song award for their first-ever Hot 100 track ‘Dynamite’.

Following their win, the group debuted their latest record-breaking hit single ‘Butter’ live on BBMAs stage. Their performance was their fourth time to perform on the annual BBMAs awards.

In a video acceptance speech, J-Hope expressed his gratitude for their fans, and the award giving body.

“Top Social Artist for five years in a row. Thank you ARMY and BBMAs for such an incredible title” the member told.

“Let’s continue to stay connected as always” and BTS said, “ARMY, we love you.” added Suga.

For their Top Duo/Group Award, topped other big names– AC/DC, AJR, Dan + Shay and Maroon 5.
