EVOS Reborn Needs More Than a Strategy for PMPL SEA Finals

Indonesia has the most representative teams than any other country. EVOS Reborn did manage to get the PMPL SEA ticket first, but they have to prepare more than usual.

This is because the participating teams from other countries are proven strong and even deserve to be watched out for. The first example from Malaysia is team Dingoz MPX. Dingoz also participated in PEI 2021 with Bigetron RA and Geek Fam ID. Even though their position was far from BTR RA position, Dingoz was above Geek Fam ID. They even won WWCD in one of the games, something that BTR or Geek Fam didn’t achieve. In PMPL MY/SG Season 3, they also won the regular season like BTR RA.

Not only Dingoz won the regular season, but also a team from Thailand named Valdus Esports. If Bigetron RA managed to get 5 WWCD and 378 points in the regular season, Valdus got 7 WWCD and 403 points in the first three weeks of PMPL TH Season 3. Unfortunately, Valdus was the runner-up in the Grand Final of PMPL TH, the same fate as BTR RA in PMPL ID.

If Valdus was the runner-up of PMPL TH S3 Grand Final, the FaZe Clan team was the winner. They will also play in the PMPL SEA Finals later. Even during last week’s PMPL SEA scrim, FaZe Clan did not hesitate to target Bigetron RA in its Drop Zone.

EVOS Reborn was ranked last in the PMPL ID S3 Grand Final. It is because of lack of team chemistry, which makes the players move independently. As the team leader, EVOS Microboy, has acknowledged his shortcomings through an evaluation video on EVOS Esports YouTube channel. His friends also commented that Microboy wasn’t as strict as a leader.

EVOS’ strength has already been proven, it’s just that they have to prepare more than their usual strategy if EVOS Reborn doesn’t want to be run over by other countries’ teams. Hopefully EVOS Reborn don’t go down again like in the PMPL ID S3 Grand Final.
