Is Valve an Agent for Alliance? Teams, Casters Unaware of New Rule Except Alliance

The plot thickens!

Following Alliance’s cheating allegation, Valve has yet to come out to give its opinion on the issue despite the issue blowing up among different teams.

Alliance keep up strong start with win over Team Secret

In relation to the said ‘cheating’ issue, it seems Alliance is the only one who’s aware of the new tournament rules changes imposed by valve.

According to JMR Luna, CEO of OG, a rulebook was actually sent early on this season. Teams’ heads huddled to talk about the rules which, according to Luna, was problematic. Involved in the said discussions was Alliance as well, as claimed by Luna.

Luna also told on his Twitter that the 6-man rule, which was supposedly a change, was not included in the rule book. Clearly, there has been a misunderstanding on the rules.

“No one flagged it. No one discussed it. And clearly, we all missed it. Including Teams, Talent on the broadcast (of they would have build storylines around it). Everyone missed it, or we all interpreted it in a very different way. Not 6 man dota” JMR Luna told.

It seems there have been exploitation on the side of Alliance as it appears, they were the only one to receive such rule change.

“There is a difference between fault and responsibility. But let’s be honest here…ok? Teams talk all the time and we flag things and discuss them. Even between competitors. I speak to Secret and Nigma and alliance and Liquid and EG, and Quicy….. Quite often. C’mon…” JMR Luna continued on his Twitter account.

It seems other teams are furious of this as Alliance sits atop EU’s Dota based on their ranking on DPC Season 2.
