May the 4th has already passed, but the Force had just arrived!
Moonton had just officially confirmed that the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will have a collaboration with Star Wars although date is yet to be confirmed.
Mobile Legend’s announcement pictured a teaser of silhouettes of the Sith Lord Darth Vader and Jedi Master Yoda, two of the film’s most successful characters in the franchise. Additionally, silhouettes of MLBB heroes Argus and Cyclops were closely seen under the said Star Wars Characters.
The news pertaining to the collaboration came to the spotlight after drafrixkun, a data miner, leaked photos of the said collaboration between the two giants.
Star Wars has become a pop culture since its movie release in 1977 produced by George Lucas. In its initial success, Star Wars became a film giant and was able to produce off-springs in the form of other films, comics, television series, several video games, and even theme parks.
Following such success, seems like Moonton wants to be part of it as Mobile Legends is given the chance to fuse in some Star Wars content in game. Possible surprises for players would most likely be events and rewards.
Leaks also say that multiple skins for Argus, and Cyclops, both in-game heroes, will be coming during the event. As the leaked photo suggest, possible Darth Vader and Yoda skins will be for the said heroes respectively.
Said specifications are the only ones remaining in everyone’s imagination as Moonton itself has yet to reveal details on the collaboration. Their Twitter post only announced a confirmation of the game’s official partnership with Lucasfilm.
The said collaboration, despite being big, will only be authorized limitedly in some countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei, Laos, East Timor, and Japan. More regions, however, are likely to be added on the list.
