CSGO Permanently Banning Boosting Accounts?

The issue of declining players interested in Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) seems to really make Valve aware and act swiftly to anticipate the decline in the number of CSGO players in the future. One of the main reasons why the number of CSGO players is decreasing is because of the increasing number of cheaters that make players lazy and reluctant to keep playing the game. Of the many cheating modes, the one that makes Valve most furious is the players who use a Steam account to get an illegal level and rank increase.

One Reddit u / TarOfficial user has uploaded a screenshot of the official service message from Steam to a user. The official service message appears after the user used the forgot password feature on his Steam account. Instead of a page for correcting passwords, it turns out that a message pops up saying:

“The account you wrote down has been identified as increasing CS:GO Skill Group and profile level in a way that is not justified through CS:GO matchmaking. We do not support increasing Skill groups and profile levels like this, and as a result, the account has been deactivated permanently and will not be activated again in the future.”

Hoping that Valve will still provide opportunities or concessions for these accounts? Better you never hope. Valve shows that their decision is unanimous and inviolable, and that any evidence or persuasion from the Steam user will be ignored.

“This account lock is permanent and we cannot help you further than this. Please remember that you will not receive any more replies regarding this issue and we will not reactivate this account, ”explained Valve.

We don’t know how long the assertiveness of Valve’s account continues, what’s certain is that this incident occurred shortly after Valve was criticized for not immediately fixing the “Trust Factor” system in CS:GO which resulted in bad matchmaking and did not match the skill level of the players with friends and opponents, and still can be penetrated by cheats.

Valve finally admitted last week that there was indeed a problem with the Trust Factor at CS:GO and said it had taken steps to fix it. Therefore Valve solidified this policy to slaughter the fraudulent players.
