Tarik Could be Streaming Full-Time, but Valorant is Still an Option

Tarik in VALORANT pro scene? That could work!

Famous Major winner Tarik announced that he could be retiring from CSGO pro scene to focus on streaming full-time, although he did not dismiss any possibility that he could transfer to VALORANT in the future.

Tarik is currently on the bench of Evil Geniuses’ roster and no longer has a clear future in CSGO’s competitive scene. This situation forced him to work full-time instead on content creation.

The pro player told on Twitter that he was not hooking up with any CSGO team. He also emphasized that moving up to Europe is not an option for him. His statement connects to EG and Team Liquid who both relocated to EU to play with top talents. Despite this reason, Tarik also did not say that he was considering with working together with any locally based team.

“Update: Relocating to Europe for CS isn’t really in the cards, and there isn’t much choice in NA. My options are either playing competitive Valorant or streaming, so I’m going to pursue streaming for the time being. If I do enjoy streaming full time, then I’ll continue. Let’s see,” his Twitter update read.

Due to massive changes in NA, Tarik was definitely left with no option in choosing for a team especially now that most players are switching to VALORANT instead.

Given the said conditions, Tarik is now set to work full-time on streaming, or some VALORANT explorations. He told in one of his streams that big teams in VALORANT are already giving him offers, although he did not name any team.

As VALORANT Champions Tour nears its conclusion, teams are already either settled or are no longer in the competition, putting Tarik in a no-rush position before the Master Two ends.

In the same way, Tarik will definitely receive more opportunities by the end of the current tournament as there will definitely be inevitable roster changes, and Tarik’s leadership will always play a vital role being a Major winner.
