GPX Starts Poaching Players from Other Team

GPX or Geng Kapak Esports has begun to continue its mission to enter MPL Indonesia Season 8, one of them is looking for team players. This time, GPX Donkey is targeting one of the players from Genflix Aerowolf, namely Kido.

Donkey asked, “when will your contract be over” to Kido. This question should be private and confidential, because Donkey, alias Yurino, asked Kido via Instagram direct message. Unfortunately, the gadget Kido used at that time was for live streaming on his Nimo TV. Thus, Yurino’s private message notification appeared on Kido’s gadget screen, and Kido couldn’t avoid or censor it from his live broadcast.

“Geez!” Kido said in shock when he read the notification from his Instagram. “I dunno anymore, ko* Yur (*koko: to address Chinese older brother in Indonesia), really!” he added with a disbelief. “No, that’s not ko Yur, it’s not. I dunno. No!” he continued with his fake denial.

Kido’s reaction was recorded on the Instagram account @emak_moba. Netizens were entertained and amazed by Kido’s negligence. Donkey also commented on that post.

“This is stupid, how does IG chat go through to the front.. moron,” wrote @donkey_yurino.

However, netizens seemed to support Donkey’s actions. The reason is that Kido doesn’t play in the MPL Indonesia Season 7 event. Not because he was sick or he was on hold to appear later in the Playoffs, but Aero did arrange his team according to the players’ chemistry. There are also some netizens who suspect Donkey’s action is so called player poaching. Donkey replied to it in a separate comment.

“Poaching your ass… the organization hasn’t complete yet (we got accused of) poaching..” replied @donkey_yurino.

Even though Yurino has denied the allegation, netizens have no objection if GPX manages to get Kido for MPL Indonesia next season.

Before that incident by Kido and Donkey, Donkey had also persuaded Wannn from EVOS Legends to join GPX. It seems like GPX got the approval from Wannn, and he is waiting for the official buyout from GPX.
