EVOS Legends Rekt said that his contract will expire soon. Not only once, but twice he leaked about his contract that will end in the near future on his Nimo TV channel. It is said that his contract will end after the MPL ID Season 7.

Rekt, familiarly called Gustian, is one of the veteran players among the Mobile Legends’ pro team. He has been actively participating in competitions from season 1 with Luminaire, Lemon, and LJ. Rekt also often experienced member transfer from other esports teams, from Bigetron at MPL S1 to Louvre at MPL S2. Rekt finally joined EVOS Esports at MPL S3.

Through a live broadcast on his Nimo TV channel, Rekt revealed about his contract when playing with Buluk.

“No need to buy-out, my contract (will) expire,” Rekt responded to Buluk.

Rekt also revealed it when asked by fans about the buy-out price.

“It should be free, my contract will be over. Ah, hint, hint,” replied Rekt.

It can be deduced that Rekt is at surfeited point in competitive world. Even before the MPL ID S7, there were rumors about Rekt wouldn’t play. Rekt planned to focus as a streamer, either under his own brand or still under the umbrella of EVOS Esport streaming.

However, despite the fuss of his statement, netizens do not believe it. They are confident that what Rekt have said at his live broadcast couldn’t be believable, just like Luminaire. Some believe that Rekt will leave EVOS Legends, but they predict Rekt will move to another esports team, such as Aura Esports or RRQ Hoshi.

If Rekt’s statement is correct, EVOS will lose one tank, leaving LJ and Darkness behind. However, EVOS Legends has not made an official statement about his retirement.

Do you also believe Rekt is lying? Or do you agree that Rekt is better to be a streamer?
