Nobody wants to play with cheaters, especially in online multiplayer mobile games. As a developer of PUBG Mobile game, Tencent tries to track cheaters down and act decisively against them.

Every week, Tencent provides Anti-Cheating report on @PUBGMOBILE Twitter account. In its most recent report from April 2-8, over 1.6 million cheaters were permanently banned. Report said about 21 percent used auto-aim hack, 21 percent used X-ray vision, 17 percent used speed hacks, and 13 percent used modification areas of damage and character models. Finally, around 28 percent were blocked due to other hacks.

Tencent also reported the distribution of hackers and cheaters based on their rank:

Bronze: 40 percent

Silver: 11 percent

Gold: 8 percent

Platinum: 10 percent

Diamonds: 12 percent

Crown: 11 percent

Ace: 7 percent

Conqueror: 1 percent

Although Tencent has its own cheating detection system, players can report them if they meet in person in the game. Reports will be individually checked by Tencent. If the reported cheater has banned, the player will receive a notification.

The number of banned players is quite a lot, but it’s not as much as the report at the end of 2020 to the beginning of 2021. In the report at the end of January 2021, there were more than 1.9 million banned players. At the end of 2020, it was reported that more than two million players were expelled by BanPan. Wow, PUBG mobile is a hotbed for cheaters, huh?
