You don’t mess with Asians.

Jonas Volek, known in the gaming community as SabeRLight, has been at the spotlight for insulting players from the Southeast Asia (SEA).

The Czech player just joined Ninjas in Pajamas (NiP) in 2020. Even though he didn’t have any prestigious achievement quite yet, a lot of controversial news has come from this young player.

Recently, netizens got furious when SabeRLight, a Dota 2 player, gave a comment that seemed condescending to the SEA players.

In his tweet, SabeRLight claimed that “SEA is just a bunch of noob people.”

The tweet went viral soon after, and netizens, particularly from the SEA region, were angered and disgusted with his remarks. Some netizens insinuated that his level was only limited to playing online and never going into LAN, not on a world scale competition.

Feeling annoyed and worried about the comments from netizens who bashed him, SabeRLight immediately deleted his tweet. and quickly apologized with his words.

He said that his tweet was meant to be a jokeand did not mean to hurt any party. He ended his apology by saying that he, too, was lousy.

Hoping this incident serves as a strong reminder for him to be better and wiser in using social media.
