Optimus Says He has Evidence of VCS Players’ Match-fixing

Optimus is a known icon in League of Legends Vietnam. Recently, on his livestream, he spent most of his time confiding with fans about the selling and match-fixing issues that are going on at the VCS and shared his frustration with the handling of the incidents by the organizer.

“Right now, I have proof of the players involved in betting, selling and team breaking. Without reporting, I want to give them a chance to see if there is any change in their attitudes or not. If they know they are wrong, it is a good thing for League of Legends Vietnam,” Optimus affirmed.

Holding the match-fixing evidence of a number of players at the VCS, Optimus announced that he would be a pioneer, and when he speaks up, it will negatively be reflected in the league of League of Legends tournament in Vietnam.

Optimus also shared the view that as pro gamers, it is unacceptable to bet. He said that since he started his esports career, he has never been involved in the same things. In addition, the former player criticized the community for not being fierce enough to condemn the players’ acts and violations.

“There is a player who posted on facebook with content related to a certain match, then the comment below is to bet one million for fun. If there is a strict rule in Vietnam, then we have to take pictures of such actions and send them to the organizers. We can’t let the players leisurely perform those acts like that,” Optimus shared.
