One can’t simply flaunt rudeness. But for Baby Shima, doing so sounds really easy.

Malaysian singer Baby Shima is now facing backlash after the celebrity posted a video which seemed to be mocking disabled activist Zhariff Afandi.

Baby Shima, also known as Nor Ashima Ramli, created a TikTok video where she was reacting to Zhariff Afandi’s TV interview.

Afandi, a handicapped person who has no arms and have been using his feet to do his daily tasks, was imitated by the singer and even had the audacity to grin while doing so.

The video has gone viral on Twitter as Twitter user @Bubih97 shared the celebrity’s video and called her out for being ‘rude’.

“I feel like this joke went overboard. (Zhariff) is really an OKU person, he’s not pretending. Come on, Shima,” the user told.

Shima’s video also did not sit well with other netizens as many are now cancelling her online.

“Why do people like this always feel like it’s hilarious to make fun of OKU? It’s not funny at all,” wrote one user.

“Shame on her. This is not a joke, it’s disrespectful,” another one told.

Baby Shima’s video has since then been deleted on TikTok.

The celebrity has also apologised for her attitude.

“I quickly deleted it when I was criticised half an hour after sharing that video and found out that the individual is a disabled person,” she said, adding that she has already apologized to the activist privately.
