ONE Esports’ Singapore Major has already faced several technical issues even right before it started. And right now, it is facing another one, and with its crucial livestreaming this time.

Home-viewers of the most awaited Major have encountered numerous issues, both in the main streaming production and parter streaming sites halting smooth experience for the viewers.

Majority of the concerns raised was the intermittent lagging, and frame drops during the games.

Watching the initial games of the tournament, occasional lags, and slowing down of footages on broadcast were being observed. This, despite hearing the commentators continue on with the game as if no problem is happening.

According to the organizers, your internet connection is not to blame for your poor experience as the Dota 2 client itself is the one causing the lags.

Players say that if you’re spectating using the Dota 2 client, you will experience lags in about 15 minutes as you switch from one hero perspective to another.

As of the moment, the issue is no longer being experienced by viewers as the issue has been allegedly addressed already by Valve.

Talk about ill-preparedness for a big competition such as the Singapore Major. Valve should have already prepared for the worst, especially in its streaming service as there were no live audience allowed.
