Recently, Jay Won, also known as Sinatraa, a professional esports competitor for the multiplayer video game VALORANT and the 2019 Overwatch League MVP, has been suspended from his team after being accused of sexual assault by his ex-girlfriend.
In her twitter, Cleo Hernandez bravely accused the 20-year-old Won of manipulating her into having sex as well as gaslighting her over the course of their nine-month relationship.
âWhen I started dating Jay I got an IUD because he refused to use a condom,â she shared. âThe first time we ever slept together I told him I wasnât on birth control and he could not finish in me. He did it anyways, without my consent.â
Hernandez said she had to make up excuses for not wanting to have sex, but âI donât want to right nowâ or âit hurts meâ wasnât good enough. âI never got away with saying âNoâ without a guilt trip,â she said.
In the statement, Hernandez included an audio clip of a situation she said happened âcountless timesâ in their relationship. In the clip, Hernandez can be heard saying âno, I donât want to,” while engaging in sex with someone whom she claims is Won.
Won has yet to release a statement in response to these allegations. After ending her toxic relationship with Sinatraa, Cleo now has a new boyfriend, streamer Kai Collins.
