Dota 2 Major is one of the events the fans are waiting for patiently every year. Unlucky for them, COVID-19 has yet again jinxed their chance to watch the upcoming Singapore Major as the live audience.

ONE Esportss and PGL has announced that Singapore Major will run through without fans in attendance.

According to the organizers, although the teams will still have to fly-in for the event, live audience will not be permitted citing health protocols required by strict Singapore.

“Due to safety reasons, no spectators will be allowed in the venue during the tournament,” PGL told in a statement.

Silviu Stroie, PGL CEO, also added that their decision takes part in taking all the measures needed to have a safe tournament in a healthy environment.

Singapore Major will air live on the official channel of ONE Esports on Twitch, YouTube, and on their Facebook page.
