League of Legends: Wild Rift fans, get ready for the latest update, Patch 4.1, as it introduces two new champions, some changes for tanks, and brand new skins and events.
The first champion is Urgot, the Dreadnought, who uses a combination of Zaun tech and brute force to destroy his enemies in the top lane. The second champion is Twitch, the Plague Rat, who is a marksman with the ability to apply poison with every hit and can go under camouflage, making him an excellent stealth assassin.
In terms of gameplay changes, Wild Rift is introducing new item options for tanks, such as Amaranth Twinguard, which grants stacks of Endurance while in combat with enemy champions, and Mantle of the Twelfth Hour, which offers a lifeline for tanking a ton of damage. In addition, Searing Crown is a new burn damage item that can stack with Sunfire Cap, while Abyssal Mask is being adjusted to be viable on more champions.
Patch 4.1 also includes some quality of life changes, such as a new “prestige” level system once players reach level 40, as well as changes to the highest tiers of Ranked play.
For Wild Pass Season 9, players can look forward to a new hero, Superhero Vi, who comes complete with flaming gauntlets and a cool secret identity. The season also includes new skins, such as inaugural League of Legends: Wild Rift World Championship skins featuring Nova Esports for Morgana, Lee Sin, Lucian, Nasus, and Riven.
Finally, Patch 4.1 offers new events, including Urgot’s Trivia, Card Trick Chaos, and Twitch’s Ambush, which cater to all players, both new and old.
With so much to look forward to, League of Legends: Wild Rift fans are in for a treat with the latest update.
