Nigma Galaxy, Fennel Adversity to represent PH in WSL Asia

The Nigma Galaxy and Fennel Adversity teams have secured their spots in the Wild Rift League Asia tournament as the top two teams from the PH qualifier.

Nigma Galaxy’s team, consisting of Sean “Hide” Baguino, Justine Ritchie “Juschie” Tan, Aaron “Aaron Bingay,Golden Hart “Demonkite” Dajao, and Reniel “Dr4w” Angara, emerged victorious in Phase 2, defeating Fennel 2-0 and then taking down The 300 in a hard-fought upper bracket finals.

Fennel, composed of Ken “RyuKen” Flores, Robert “Trebor” Mansilungan, Aden “Aker” Baranda, John “Dani” Bulanadi, Miguel “Arisen” Pison, fought their way through the lower bracket, defeating G2 Blacklist and avenging their Phase 1 loss to The 300 with a convincing 3-1 victory.

The two Philippine teams will join 12 Chinese teams in the tournament, including top finishers Nova Esports, J Team, and FunPlus Phoenix from the Icon Global Championship, as well as JD Gaming, Team Weibo, Rare Atom, One Champ, WHG Esports, KeepBest Gaming, ThunderTalk Gaming, EDward Gaming, and Trace Esports.

Additionally, Vietnam’s Team Flash and Thailand’s Buriram United Esports and Invate Esports qualified through the SEA qualifier.

Although The 300 and G2 Blacklist did not secure their spots, they still have a chance to qualify as the third team in the regional tilt through the Last Chance qualifier.
